An agent's advice on how to combat a scorching summer!
Here are a few tips to help you clear your head and, above all, cope with this heat worthy of the Gates of Hell!
Summer will be hot, summer will be hot! It's the middle of August in Paris and the heatwave has already been raging for several weeks. It's hard to concentrate when your friends are posting pictures of idyllic beaches on Instagram and you're stuck at work in 35° shade.
Drink a lot!
We can't say it often enough: hydration is the first thing you need to do to combat the high temperatures. Drink hot or iced water, rainwater or water from up there, eat fruit and vegetables and get your clothes wet all day long! This will keep your head clear and your brain from boiling, especially when you have to go on a mission and the slightest puzzle becomes a headache.
Ventilate!
Try to place fans at strategic points to prevent the air from becoming too hot, hang wet sheets over the windows and close the shutters. At Kairos Escape Game we ventilate all our rooms so that you can set off on your mission through time in optimum conditions! Getting your brains racing has never been so refreshing! Use all the accessories you need to get the wind blowing, such as a fan, a pocket fan or a palm leaf. But that means you're already at the beach. And that's really annoying.
Brumisez!
A little 'pshiiit' of mist, a light dab on the face and that's it, we can get back to work. On missions, we use vials specially designed to withstand the thermal shock of space-time portals, especially when we get close to the sun with the Athena Space Station. But a small spray bottle will do the trick when you leave Kairos Escape Game and get back to your daily routine!
There's no reason why you can't carry on with your leisure activities or work, and stay away from Mordor until the end of August! We're still counting on you to go out on a mission, dear agents!
